Mesothelioma is a malignant neoplasm. It happens in humans who came into contact with asbestos. The lungs and abdomen can be damaged by this illness. There may be also rarer cases damaging other inner organs. Today no obtainable mesothelioma treatment option invented. There are however some mesothelioma treatment options: chemotherapeutics, radiation therapy and surgery. Statistic shows that all the patients who have such illness have been in contact with asbestos for over 25 years. It could happen on the works where grains of asbestos, for example in building where cement produces are employed. The fluids in lungs are the cause of frequent pangs in the chest if the man suffers from the spiteful asbestosis mesothelioma. The loss of weight, blood coagulation and deglutition problems can appear as a consequence of this type of mesothelioma as peritoneal. That is quite hard to reveal the not benign mesothelioma, because its symptoms are very alike to other illnesses. If the case report of the patient includes exposure to asbestos at some time in the past, the chances for suspecting mesothelioma are higher. This patient should be physically examined by an oncologist. The oncological examination can be performed by means of X-ray scrutiny, but ultimately the patient can be diagnosed only after the biopsy. But the new method of resolving that problem was invented lately. The cells damaged by malignant tumor can't produce the normal level of proteins. The principle of the new method is based on inspecting their levels to reveal malignant neoplasm. It allows earlier detection of the illness than more traditional systems thus making it more credible for the patient to survive. The likelihood of appropriate treatment of malign mesothelioma is not very high. Conventional systems permit the person to survive up to a year, on average after the treatment has been administered. For example, mesothelioma surgery even when used among with other treatments has been producing a lot of negative results. Mesothelioma cannot be completely treated using the surgery method. The malignant tumor cannot be exacted fully because the person can die. Resorting to the radiation therapy to treat the malign mesothelioma person has more chances to achieve success. It usually mixed with radical surgery and provided at the same time with chemotherapy. Such combination of procedures gives more probability to left alive and continue struggle with disease. However, when applied alone, without other treatment option, radiation method does not extend patients' span of life. If the surgery was not utilized that required draught of radiation would exceed all the limits and can kill the patient. The development of malignant tumor cells can be subdued or held up by utilizing chemotherapy. Such chemical preparations have a lot of different dangerous side effects which affect on the healthy cells. That's why among with them the using of drugs which can treat the healthy cells is necessary. To treat malign mesothelioma physicians use pemetrex in complex with cisplatin. Some pericardial mesothelioma is very rare but even modern medicine cannot completely treat that illness.
