Punk originated in the 70's as a offensive, underground rebellion against mainstream pop music. Bands like Sex Pistols, the Offspring, and Pere Ubu boosted punk rock back in 1990. This time the mesh of rapid, simple as soap rock music with sweet-sounding popular melodies hang around on the TV. These days, self-styled punk pop is the main element in the world of chart music. These ten record albums are fine place to start from to learn punk pop.

1. blink-182 - Enema of the State

In blink-182's unbounded struggle to insult all adults in the locality, this tape shed light upon a girl dressed as an enema au pair girl on the cover. The punk pop on the record is adolescent and never-to-be-forgotten including the massive hit song “All the Small Things.”

2. The Donnas - Spend the Night

Girls can perform punk, as well, and this record album is an abounding proof of the fact. The group styled after the 1st punk band Ramones in NY with every singer going by the name Donna. Download Paramore to listen to it.

3. Good Charlotte - Young and the Hopeless

A band from Maryland Good Charlotte got into the top ten of the popular music album chart. It's full with history of university and problem parents. The big #1 song is “The Anthem.”

4. Green Day - Jesus of Suburbia

After retreating from their nineties fleeting surge of popularity, Green Day retreated to the studio to mix punk's first rock opera. Though the American band was anxious about their fanclub's attitude to Dearly Beloved, it to be a UK punk rock classic topping the album chart and winning an award for Best Punk Album of 2004.

5. The Lemonheads - Ceiling Fan in My Spoon

The Lemonheads' lead singer Evan Dando is the one and only punk performer to be known as a true teenager dream-boy. Along the way the band wrote down some splendid songs, too, featuring “Hannah & Gabi”, “Download Pressure” and “Rest Assured”.

6. The Offspring - Killboy Powerhead

Offspring a highly influential American rock band were one of the original punk revival bands from the nineties. On many occasions their songs touched with Blues rock and heavy metal with guitar-and-drums-centered sound, but their most popular music is true punk. “Session” and “Self Esteem” are far beyond what is normal on this DVD.

7. Rancid - Avenues and Alleyways

Rancid a lot like such late 70's classic punk bands as the Clash. They also incorporate the of ska in much of their music.

8. Simple Plan - Still Not Getting Any…

This group from Canada appeared in the limelight in October with their record album Grow Up. This second studio album is much better and includes the hit single “Welcome To My Life.”

9. Sum 41 - In Too Deep

The song “Handle This” encouraged to catapult this record album into the pop top 10. Sum 41 inject intelligent humor into much of their music. Download Paramore to get an impression of what we are talking about.

10. Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)

Despite the fact that they are revered as initiators of the anti-establishment rock music genre, Weezer's music is also pure punk pop. “My Name Is Jonas” was their 1st hit and then a video putting the rock band in a TV episode promoted to make “Buddy Holly” even bit more popular.
