Working together

Human beings interact in three primary ways: conversing, transacting and collaborating (in a positive meaning of the word).

If you care to make the correct choice with regard to software application, you have to understand the differences that exist between those interactions.

Conversational interaction is a transfer of data and transactional interaction is an exchange of a transaction substance between 2 or more people involeved, while an interaction of collaboration is meant for a modification of a collaboration entity, for example: reaching a common goal.

Collaborative interactions are structured in such a way that the main goal of those involved is to introduce changes into the collaboration substance from what has been unstable and intangible, for instance, an idea, into something useful, for example a blueprint.

Collaboration Software is one of groupware applications that allow for seamless teamwork between your team members, department personnel, everybody who works on the project, teams, etc.

Its remarkable usefulness lets team members to manage action plans, access shared documents, be updated on projects, supervise schedules, optimize business processes, be duely notified of any tasks and activities they are involved in. You may come across a lot of approaches to making these applications useful: moderating activities, documents and projects, optimizing business processes and harmonizing work of two or more departments or even offices.
